Third Eye - My Interpretation
My interpretation of the third eye with inspiration from the text below.

Det tredje ögat. 
Tallkottskörteln, eller det tredje ögat som det också kallas, sitter inne i hjärnan hos människor och är rund till formen. På insidan sitter ljuskänsliga celler och det har spekulerats från biologiskt håll huruvida denna tallkottskörtel bidrar till att skapa våra drömmar eftersom ämnet DMT tros utsöndras där.Det har även spekulerats i huruvida tallkottskörteln eller DMT bidrar till att skapa en utanför-kroppen-upplevelse (UKU).
Det finns vissa djur, främst vissa reptiler, som har detta tredje öga på huvudet och knappt synligt. Exempelvis leguanen har ett sådant tredje öga och använder det för att känna av skuggor som kommer bakifrån. Antagligen en evolutionistiskt utveckling som gör att leguanen kan känna av attacker ovanifrån som exempelvis fåglar eller liknande.
Man kan spekulera i om människan också hade en sådan funktion tidigare men att tallkottkörteln numera ”arbetat” sig in i mitten av hjärnan i stället. Jag vet att också kackerlackor har någon form av sensor på ryggen som känner av om någon är på väg att stampa på dem.

The third eye.
The pancreas, or the third eye, as it is also called, is inside the human brain and is round to shape. On the inside are light sensitive cells and biological speculation has been wondered whether this pineal gland contributes to creating our dreams because DMT is thought to be excreted there. It has also been speculated whether the pancreas or DMT helps to create an outside body experience (UKU) .
There are some animals, mostly some reptiles, who have this third eye on the head and barely visible. For example, the iguana has such a third eye and uses it to feel shadows coming from behind. Probably an evolutionary development that causes the iguana to feel attacks from above such as birds or the like.
One can wonder if humans also had such a function earlier but the pancreas now "worked" into the middle of the brain instead. I know that cockroaches also have some kind of sensor on the back that detects if someone is stumbling on them.
